Monday: ENERGY
Unplug your life to power down.
Here’s how:
- Unplug cell phone and other chargers during the day while not in use.
- Turn the lights off when you leave a room.
- Turn the lights off during the class after lunch and have class outside weather permitting.

Tuesday: PAPER
Remember that trash never really goes away and try to recycle paper goods.
Here’s how:
-Bring in any junk mail or old college mail to recycle.
- Bring in any outdated phonebooks.
- Recycle unwanted catalogs and cancel subscriptions to magazines you don’t read.

Wednesday: WATER
The average American uses between 100 and 300 gallongs of water per day. Try simple ways to conserve this precious resource.
Here’s how:
- Be aware of how long you shower: a typical shower uses approximately 5 gallons of water per minute.
- Turn off water when brushing teeth.
- Use a Nalgene or reuse a water bottle

Thursday: TRANSPORT
Try a different route to save some gas and some emissions.
Here’s how:
- Make the effort to carpool.
- Walk or bike to school.

Friday: PLANT
Give back to an Earth that gives us so much.
Here’s how:
- Help us plant an herb garden.
- Plant some young trees.
