Dear Parents:
In an effort to foster a better relationship between the two campuses of St. Andrew’s, the Spirit Committee has developed an idea of allowing Upper School students to help with the morning carpool at the Lower School. Students in grades 10th through 12th will be allowed to participate but to be eligible they must have a study hall at the beginning of the day. They will be responsible for reporting to the Lower School at 7:30AM. They will then be responsible for transportation to the Upper School immediately following the end of the Lower School carpool. We expect an arrival on the North Campus between 8:20-8:30AM depending on traffic. We hope to begin with the fall sports teams and then to use other groups throughout the year. If your child is eligible to help with this, they will be contacted the week before and told which day they need to report. Both the Upper and Lower School administration will be given their names and informed that they will be arriving late that day. If they do not drive, it will be their responsibility to make arrangements to get to school. The school will not be providing transportation for this.
Please understand that this is a voluntary program. If you or your child do not wish to participate, that is fine. If you could please sign the release form at the bottom of the page and return it to the school at your earliest convenience. Your child may not participate until we have a signed form.
