A group of 36 Saints was tapped into the St. Andrew's
Episcopal School chapter of the National Honor Society during an
induction ceremony on February 24. Established in 1921, the National
Honor Society recognizes and fosters academic achievement, character,
service and leadership in secondary school students. Sophomores, juniors
and seniors who have a current cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or
higher and who have met the minimum required service hours by January
of the year of consideration are eligible for membership. Adhering to
rules set by the National Honor Society, a faculty committee chooses
from the group those who have demonstrated exemplary character,
leadership, scholarship and service.
