St. Andrew’s Upper School challenges and inspires students in a way that not only prepares them for college, but also encourages them to become life-long learners, seekers, and questioners.
Upper School classes include open-ended discussions between students and their teachers. A classic liberal arts education is balanced with a number of electives, athletic programs, and extracurricular activities, and individual talents, opinions, and interests are encouraged. Upper School students continue to participate in a weekly chapel service and in cultural enrichment assemblies.
At St. Andrew’s, college prep isn’t limited to a syllabus. A college counselor works with Upper School students to help them choose the best college fit, assist with the application process, and coordinate college visits. An annual college fair held on campus allows students to meet representatives from dozens of colleges and universities nationwide.
Upon graduation, students leave St. Andrew’s with a strong sense of self and the desire to continue working toward reaching their full potential.
