It’s the highest standard in academic excellence. A place where it’s cool to be smart.
A steppingstone to any college in the country. It’s St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
St. Andrew’s is recognized nationwide as an exceptional college preparatory school. And now the Malone Scholars Program provides scholarships that allow academically gifted students with financial need to attend St. Andrew’s. The Malone Scholarships offer outstanding students the opportunity to receive an excellent education, to have their academic and creative talents nurtured, and to flourish in a learning environment they might otherwise never experience.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is pleased to offer gifted students
entering grades 7 – 12 the opportunity to apply for a Malone
Scholarship. The amount of the scholarship varies according to the
student’s financial need, but the Malone Scholarship can pay up to full
tuition.
The Malone Scholars Program was established through a generous grant
from the Malone Family Foundation. Based in Colorado, the Foundation
provides endowments to outstanding private and independent secondary
schools nationwide to create scholarships for top students with
financial need. The Malone Foundation chooses partner schools based on
their academic caliber; programs for gifted students; attention to the
individual student’s needs, interests, and talents; and diversity within
the student population.
The Malone Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals from
schools. Instead, the Foundation staff researches schools throughout the
United States each year, and then invites a small number of finalists
to submit grant proposals.
In 2005, St. Andrew’s became the first and only school in Mississippi to receive a Malone Family Foundation grant.
