Dear St. Andrew’s Parents, Faculty, Staff and Friends,
The Board of Trustees appreciates your support and commitment to St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. The St. Andrew’s Board consists of twenty elected trustees, each serving an initial four-year term with eligibility to serve a second, successive four-year term if nominated again. Trustee positions are confirmed by vote of the full St. Andrew’s Corporation, comprised of the Board of Trustees and the St. Andrew’s Regents elected by the Vestry of St. Andrew’s Cathedral. The number of open trustee positions varies each year (typically 1-3), and in some years there may be no open positions as existing trustees are nominated for a second term. It is important that St. Andrew’s builds and maintains a pool of highly qualified and committed individuals ready to serve the school when positions open.
We request your assistance with this important task of identifying potential leaders of St. Andrew’s. We seek individuals who actively support and promote the school's mission, care deeply about the school, contribute to the financial security of the school, and are enthusiastic about all that St. Andrew’s is and hopes to be in the future.
If you are interested in submitting an individual for consideration for a position on the Board of Trustees, please review the Board Member Expectations document and complete the Trustee Prospect Form below. Incomplete forms will not be considered. All completed information will go into the trustee prospect pool and will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee. Inclusion in the trustee prospect pool does not guarantee a nomination for a trustee position. When Board positions open, nominations of trustees are made by the Nominating Committee after careful analysis of the specific qualifications and skills of trustee prospects against the current needs of the Board and School.
Thank you in advance for your careful consideration of this request.
