Student Support

Middle School Learning Center

The Middle School Learning Facilitator seeks to support students in attaining success while maintaining the academic rigor of St. Andrew's. By working with the student's unique learning profile and emphasizing a strength-based approach, students learn to advocate for themselves and take ownership of their own learning style.

Therefore, the Middle School Learning Facilitator communicates and collaborates with parents, colleagues and outside professionals to provide expertise in interpreting psychoeducational evaluations for the purpose of pinpointing areas of need and designing strategies based on each child's individual strengths.

Middle School Nursing

St. Andrew's offers nursing services to our students on both campuses. Our nurses see students in the clinic based on teacher referrals, administer daily medications, monitor acute and chronic conditions within the school setting, help devise plans with medical conditions that may impact the school day, and provide guidance as needed on student medical conditions.  We help coordinate medical needs when students go off campus, and provide training and updates to teachers on medical conditions as needed. Our nurses also work with our Student Support Services teams to help recognize students who may need support, and meet students' medical needs at school.
The nurses manage clinics on both campuses providing services during school hours in all three divisions. The nurses maintain cumulative health records on all students, and work as a resource to all faculty and staff on medical needs. The nurses provide some health instruction in classrooms, and maintain up-to-date health policies for our students. We work to promote health and safety on both campuses.
