Fall 2021 Enrichment Classes begin the week of August 30!

Register now!

Enrichment Classes are a great way to turbo-charge your child's after school hours. Classes meet approximately 15 weeks, depending on the day of the class. Many programs fill up fast. Don't miss out!

Please note that these classes will be blending cohorts and grades, increasing the risk of exposure and possible quarantine if we have a positive COVID diagnosis. Masks and school day safety protocols will still be observed.

We are continuing our two-tier pricing system. There is a higher charge for students who are not enrolled in After School Care. This additional charge will give your student access to after school care on the day of their class until it closes: 5:45 p.m. on the South Campus and 6:00 p.m. on the North Campus.

The fine print: Class info is subject to change. Classes do not meet on days that school is not in session, and will not be made up. Classes are not guaranteed to meet all weeks.

In Kathy Vial's ever-popular After School Rocket Science, the students will be creating bottle rockets of different types. Some rockets will be stomp or pump rockets. Other rockets will be fueled with chemical combinations. The students will experiment with different amounts and combination of these "chemicals" identifying which amounts and combinations produce the furthest distance of travel. This will include some graphing. The children will examine the difference between 1 and 2 stage rockets.

After making teacher-designed and guided rockets the children will design their own rocket, building and testing them using their formulas for rocket fuels. All rockets will be sent home upon completion. The last 2 weeks of classes will be spent creating hover crafts for exploring planets and moons with non-Newtonian fluids as their surfaces.
