Spring 2021 Enrichment Classes begin the week of January 18!

Registration is ongoing.

Enrichment Classes are a great way to turbo-charge your child's after school hours. Classes meet approximately 15 weeks, depending on the day of the class. Many programs fill up fast. Don't miss out!

Please note that these classes will be blending cohorts and grades, so there is an increased potential for exposure and possible quarantine if we have a positive case.

Enrichment Classes will follow the same school day safety protocols: Masking, Distancing, and Hand Washing. Please be sure your student understands this.

Also note that we are continuing our two-tier pricing system. There is a higher charge for students who are not enrolled in After School Care. This additional charge will give your student access to after school care on the day of their class until it closes: 5:45 pm on the South Campus and 6:00 pm on the North Campus.

The fine print: Class info is subject to change. Classes do not meet on days that school is not in session, and will not be made up. Classes are not guaranteed to meet all weeks. Please be aware that Enrichment Classes will be mixing groups of students from different grades and school day cohorts, increasing the risk of exposure and possible quarantine if we have a positive COVID diagnosis. Masks, distancing, and school day safety protocols will still be observed.

They are like sponges, waiting to soak up every experience through sensory discovery and personal interactions. Young children bring a free-spirited joy that makes them such a great group to learn with.

This class allows imaginations to soar when fueled with music, storytelling, breath, movement, and relaxation. At any given time, the room can turn into a scene from The Land Before Time as the kids wave their arms like wings, crawl on hands and knees, or assume a down dog-like position. Everyone is laughing, smiling, learning, and playing. This is what Happy Panda Yoga and Mindfulness is all about—it's light-hearted, creative, energetic, and most of all, FUN!

The children will discover skills that grow with them, instilling lessons for life. These practices supply their inner and outer world with peace, while learning how to calm, focus, and relate to others. We will incorporate fun yoga games that encourage social interaction and communication. Our students learn to focus their attention, increase their confidence, and improve their coordination.

The main emphasis of the program is to provide the instruction, structure, and environment to enhance the development in all of our students. This specialized program is focused on the particular needs of their ages including physical maturation, coordination, social skills, self concept, attention span, mental acuity, safety awareness, and self discipline.

Each step in our belt ranking system represents the development of a physical, social, or life skill. Students strengthen their ability to process instructions, focus on objectives, and interact amongst peers inside an energetic and fun martial arts based experience.

Whether it is learning to block, to be more aware of strangers or learning about leadership, our students win the day through play-based action scenarios, staged physical challenges and cognitive development drills.

They will learn about sharing and safety and they will also have lots of fun!

Also included with the enrichment is the opportunity to come train at our main academy location: 125 Dyess Rd. in Ridgeland. We have classes on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Any questions? Contact us at (601) 977-9000.
