Athletic Camps

St. Andrew's Summer Sports Camps are a great way to improve your game and discover new sports to love. All camps are led by our professional coaching staff. We offer the widest variety of sports camps in the metro area. All sports camps take place at our Ridgeland, Mississippi campus, except for our new Coed Softball camp (July 22 -25) on the south campus.

All Athletic Camps originally scheduled for June have been moved to July.

  • All Sports Camp for Boys

    Boys will be led in a variety of sports by coaches DeWayne Cupples and Burney King. Campers will be grouped by age and will compete in the following sports: basketball, baseball, dodgeball, kickball, soccer, frisbee golf, volleyball, hand tennis/wall ball and various tag games. The camp will utilize most of the St. Andrew’s Athletic Facilities on the North Campus and will let the campers spend all day interacting with these coaches and upper school athletes. Campers will need to wear comfortable tennis shoes and athletic clothing. Bring a lunch and water bottle. Water will be provided. Be sure and sign up for a week of FUN!

  • All Sports Camp for Girls — NEW DATES!

    NEW DATES — MOVED TO JULY 6 – 9

    Kids will get a kick out of this fun-filled camp designed to ignite a passion for sports. Creative games, competitions and challenging skill-building activities will captivate and enlighten children as they work on improving their skills in a wide range of sports. Activities will be modified to satisfy the needs and abilities of all campers. All campers will participate in a variety of sports such as volleyball, soccer, running and basketball.

  • Archery — NEW DATES!

    NEW DATES — MOVED TO JULY 20 – 23

    Archery camp will help the budding archer sharpen their bow skills. New archers will learn the proper technique to shoot a bow and arrow, including the proper stature, the correct way to hold a bow and the proper way to release an arrow. Being a successful archer requires the proper technique and we help the young archer develop theirs. All equipment is provided for the campers.

    Come join Coach Stacy Sullivan, varsity fast-pitch softball coach, for a week of fast-pitch softball skills and drills. Whether it’s hitting, fielding, or base running, come learn the latest in the game of softball. In addition to learning skills and drills we will have lots of fun activities related to the game of softball.

  • Football Camp (5th – 8th Grades) — NEW DATES!

    The varsity football staff and varsity football team members work closely with students to coach them on the fundamentals of the great sport of football. Prepare your child for the upcoming football season with a fun and engaging football experience. What better way to kick off the season than to focus on skill building with St. Andrew’s varsity players and coaches?

    Location: Drop off and pick up will be at ARC classroom 2.

    Campers will need to bring tennis shoes, cleats and a water bottle. 

  • Co-ed Soccer — NEW DATES!

    NEW DATES — MOVED TO JULY 20 – 23

    The Coed Soccer Camp will focus on technical sessions, finishing drills, defensive work, goalkeeper training, speed and agility work, tactical understanding of the game, and plenty of fun games. This camp will serve as a means to help kids fall in love with the game, build sportsmanship, and learn or improve basic soccer skills needed for the game.

  • Co-ed Softball — South Campus

    We will learn the fundamentals of the game of softball, while having a great time and also learning the importance of teamwork. We will cover basic skills including fielding, throwing, hitting, and bunting.

    Campers must bring their own glove, helmet and bat each day.

  • Tennis Camp — Beginner & Intermediate

    This camp offers tennis instruction for beginner and intermediate level students. Campers will learn the proper technique of basic tennis strokes and improve their hand-eye coordination skills. Led by Coach Emillia Viljoen, this is sure to be a week of fun for all. All equipment will be provided.

  • Pep Squad Clinic

    Pep Squad Clinic is for rising 5th and 6th graders who plan on participating on the 2020 Pep Squad. Participant fee is $65. They will receive a practice shirt and will practice cheers, chants, and a dance for the upcoming year. It will be a mandatory clinic for those signed up for the squad, but is open to anyone who just wants to do it for fun.

  • Little Saints Spirit Camp

    The Little Saints Spirit Camp offers girls an opportunity to find out what it’s like to be a cheerleader or dancer. With instruction from the St. Andrew’s varsity cheerleaders and dancers, we will learn cheers, dances, chants, cheer songs and a short dance routine. All participants will receive a Spirit Camp T-shirt. Participants will perform during a St. Andrew’s varsity football camp during Lower School Spirit Night. This camp is sure to be a blast!

    All proceeds from the camp go to support the school's cheer and dance programs.
