Athletic Camps

St. Andrew's Summer Sports Camps are a great way to improve your game and discover new sports to love. All camps are led by our professional coaching staff. We offer the widest variety of sports camps in the metro area. All sports camps take place at our Ridgeland, Mississippi campus.

  • All Sports Camp for Boys: July 19 – 22, 2021

    Boys will be led in a variety of sports by coaches DeWayne Cupples and Burney King. Campers will be grouped by age and will compete in the following sports: basketball, baseball, dodgeball, kickball, soccer, frisbee golf, volleyball, hand tennis/wall ball and various tag games. The camp will utilize most of the St. Andrew’s Athletic Facilities on the North Campus and will let the campers spend all day interacting with these coaches and upper school athletes. Campers will need to wear comfortable tennis shoes and athletic clothing. Bring a lunch and water bottle. Water will be provided. Be sure and sign up for a week of FUN!

  • All Sports Camp for Girls: June 7 – 10, 2021

    Join Coach Sullivan and Coach DeLaughter for our popular All Sports Camp for Girls! Campers will learn rules and skills for a variety of sports and activities while focusing on other parts of being on a team such as sportsmanship and teamwork.

    When: Monday, June 7 – Thursday, June 10, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Where: North Campus, in the ARC
    Eligible Grades: K – 8th

  • Archery Camp: June 28 – July 1, 2021

    Archery camp will help the budding archer sharpen their bow skills. New archers will learn the proper technique to shoot a bow and arrow, including the proper stature, the correct way to hold a bow and the proper way to release an arrow. Being a successful archer requires the proper technique and we help the young archer develop theirs. All equipment is provided for the campers.

    When: Monday, June 28 – Thursday, July 1, 2021, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
    Where: North Campus, in the Old Gym
    Eligible Grades: 4th – 12th

    All equipment will be provided. Wear comfortable/well-fitting athletic clothes and closed-toe shoes. No loose/flowing clothing allowed. Bring a snack and a labeled water bottle.
  • Boys Basketball Camp: June 14 – 17, 2021

    Come join us for another amazing Summer Boys Basketball Camp! During this camp, boys will learn the fundamentals of basketball. Each day we will have skill sessions and training circuits to develop each individual. We will have some games and contests for the kids to participate in, as well. It's going to be a lot of fun — don't miss out!

    When: Monday, June 14 – Thursday, June 17, 2021, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

    Eligible Grades: 2nd – 8th

  • Coed Soccer Camp: July 12 – 15, 2021

    Top level coaching for boys and girls from second through eighth grades. Sessions will be age- and soccer skill-level appropriate, and will focus on technical, tactical and physical skills. We will utilize our FUTSAL facilities for plenty of fun, games, and development!

    When: Monday, July 12 – Thursday, July 15, 2021, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Football Camp: June 14 – 17, 2021

    Join us for another week of Summer Football Camp where we will focus on conditioning, technique, skills, agility, safety, game rules, and fun competition. 

    When: Monday, June 14 – Thursday, June 17, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Eligible Grades: 5th – 8th

  • Softball Camp: July 19 – 22, 2021

    Come join Coach Sullivan and Coach Doggett for a week of fast-pitch softball skills and drills. Whether it’s hitting, fielding, or base running, come learn the latest in the game of softball. In addition to learning skills and drills we will have lots of fun activities related to the game of softball.

    When: Monday, July 19 – Thursday, July 22, 2021, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • Tennis Camp: July 12 – 15, 2021

    This camp offers tennis instruction for beginner and intermediate level students. Campers will learn the proper technique of basic tennis strokes and improve their hand-eye coordination skills. Led by Coach Emillia Viljoen, this is sure to be a week of fun for all!

    When: Monday, July 12 – Thursday, July 15, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Volleyball Camp — Middle School: June 14 – 16, 2021

    Come join us this summer for an amazing youth volleyball camp where players will learn basic rotations and develop skills in the sport. Skills will focus on passing, setting, hitting, and serving fundamentals, while involving team cooperation in a fun learning environment. This program will also teach non-physical skills like communication, conflict resolution, mental tools, and leadership qualities and apply them to the on-court portion where players can practice them while learning and improving their volleyball skills.

    When: Monday, June 14 – Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Where: North Campus, in the ARC
    Eligible Grades: 5th – 8th
    Cost: $100

  • Volleyball Camp — Upper School: June 17 – 18, 2021
