Adventure Camp

Adventure Camp is for rising 2nd through 4th graders. Campers have a blast each week, with regular rotations including Motion/Movement, Cooking, Gardening, STEAM lab, Creative Learning, Coding, Camp Games, free play, and lots more! 

Adventure Camp meets on the South Campus in Ford Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., with drop off starting at 7:45 a.m. After Camp Care is available until 5:45 p.m. for an additional charge of $60 per week.

  • Week 1: Wonders of Our World (June 7 – 11)

    This week, Adventure Campers will be virtually traveling the world to examine the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. From the Great Barrier Reef to Mount Everest to the Grand Canyon, we will take a deep dive into the incredible wonders of our world.
  • Week 2: Ancient Art (June 14 – 18)

    This week, Adventure Campers will be examining famous art and architecture from ancient history. We’ll recreate Egyptian sculptures and architecture, plays from Greece, Chinese paintings and calligraphy and more.
  • Week 3: Heroes, Villains and Regular Folks (June 21 – 25)

    This week, Adventure Campers will delve into the world of fictional stories. From novels to comic books to screens both big and small, this week your favorite characters will come alive!
  • Week 4: Canada to Chile (June 28 – July 2)

    This week, Adventure Campers will be focusing on the countries in North and South America. We will learn about the cultures, traditions, and languages of our neighboring countries.
  • Week 5: Animals of the World (July 6 – July 9*)

    This week, Adventure Campers will learn about the seven most common types of biomes in our world and the animals that live in them. Each camper will choose an animal and they will spend the week researching and creating a habitat for that animal based on the biome in which it lives.

    *No camp on Monday, July 5.

  • Week 6: NASA Adventures (July 12 – 16)

    This week, Adventure Campers will learn about NASA space missions, both past and future. They will have a chance to design their own space vehicles. It’ll be out of this world!
  • Week 7: Potato Olympics 2.0 (July 19 – 23)

    Back by popular demand, Adventure Camp will once again host the Potato Olympics. Each camper will learn about the history of the Olympics, the host country of their potato and their potato will participate in a variety of Olympic sports.
  • Week 8: Best of Summer 2021 (July 26 – 30)

    Whether you loved learning about ancient art, space exploration, or our world, this week Adventure Campers will be reliving some of our favorite activities from this summer!
