Kinder Camp

*Following the recommendations of the State Department of Health and the CDC, we will limit the number of campers in each classroom. We will restrict group gatherings in water play areas and on playgrounds and practice fields to small groups, and social distancing of six feet in these areas will be enforced as much as possible.

Kinder Camp is for rising Pre-K4, Kindergarten, and 1st graders. Campers have a blast each week, with regular rotations including Motion/Movement, Cooking, Gardening, Art, Storytelling, Creative Learning, Water Play, Camp Games, free play, and lots more! 

Kinder Camp meets in Kennedy Hall on the South Campus, and runs Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm, with After Camp Care available until 5:45 pm for an additional charge.

    Due to COVID-19 concerns, all week 1 sessions have been cancelled. Day camps will open on June 15, and other camp sessions will resume in July.

  • Week 3: NEW THEME - Gone Camping! (June 15-19)

    *Following the recommendations of the State Department of Health and the CDC, we will limit the number of campers in each classroom. We will restrict group gatherings in water play areas and on playgrounds and practice fields to small groups, and social distancing of six feet in these areas will be enforced as much as possible.

    Week 3: NEW THEME: Gone Camping! (June 15 - 19)
    Let’s get out and explore nature. Kids will have an Eye-Spy Nature Scavenger Hunt to see who can be the first to spot certain items in nature. Search for animal tracks, learn about cloud inspecting, Identify trees, play camping games such as ring toss, horseshoes, cornhole, tic tac toe and more. Join us on the campground and let’s have some fun!

    Spend the week letting the creativity flow…..We may even find our next little Picasso! Guest artist Jessica Ferris will be joining us and sharing some art knowledge. So…..get your messy clothes on and your paint brushes ready for this week of personal expression and art.

    Have fun participating in activities that celebrate our country and traditions. Yes, we will have our famous red, white, and blue parade, and patriotic themed crafts. We have so much to celebrate and be proud of!

    This week, we are all superheroes - and might meet a few real-life ones. We will share and learn all about our favorite heroes - both fictional and real.

    This week we will embrace the weirdness of science! We will make sparkling monster goo. We will see if we can make ants change color. Let's create a fizzy colorful masterpiece, toss around some sorbet and make a floating fairy jar. It's going to be weird!
