At St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, Global Studies is infused throughout all aspects of student experiences. Through their courses, co-curricular activities, international travel opportunities, and relationships with partner schools, students develop a global awareness and appreciation, helping them become knowledgeable and caring citizens of the world.
Global competency skills are emphasized in all divisions. Students learn to investigate and analyze world issues, communicate their ideas, value different perspectives, and take action to positively change the world.

Lower School
PK3-4th grade world language courses focusing on Spanish and Mandarin languages and cultures
Assemblies and events led by students, families, and community members who wish to share their cultural traditions and values
Learn about Spanish-speaking countries using international currencies
Cultural visits on campus with students from our international partner schools
Create Peace Flags for the United Nations' International Day of Peace
Middle School
5th grade history course focusing on world cultures and activities connected to our international partner schools
6th grade quarter rotation focusing on world geography and providing an introduction to Model United Nations through in-class summits and research projects centered on student-selected countries
8th grade trip to the Global Village at Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas
