St. Andrew’s works to continually support the physical well-being of each student by introducing skills, strategies, and information to encourage long-term healthy life-style choices. Using multi-faceted and holistic approaches, students participate in age appropriate fitness curriculum, curriculum to address human growth and development, and programs that focus on taking care of their bodies and minds.
Our fitness programs are designed to improve aerobic and anaerobic fitness, musculoskeletal fitness and flexibility. Fitness programs are organized by division. Upper School fitness includes an option of either participating in an athletic program or, for students not participating in athletics, specially-designed workouts to do in the weight room.
