Emily Philpott Presents in US Institute of Peace Webinar

On Wednesday, December 16 Upper School teacher Emily Philpott presented during a webinar by the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) for educators across the country highlighting how she has used some of their virtual educational resources in her classes at St. Andrew's. Philpott has been working as a Peace Teacher with their Education Department and in that role serves as an ambassador for the resources and programming they offer teachers. Here is an article she helped to write for the USIP blog on teaching peace amidst the pandemic.
