St. Andrew’s Merit Scholarship Program offers two prestigious scholarships, the Malone Scholarship and Arches to Excellence, for academically exceptional students with financial need who are entering grades 7-12.

The application process for the Merit program is rigorous, and recipients shine both at St. Andrew’s and in their pursuits after graduation.

The Merit Scholarship Program not only makes it possible for these students to attend St. Andrew's, but also gives those students the preparation they need to succeed in college and in life.

How to Apply for a 2019-20 Merit Scholarship

  • Academic Qualifications

    1. Submit the completed Application for Admission to St. Andrew’s accompanied by the $50 application fee, along with a completed Merit Scholarship Application.   

      The admission process also includes:

      • Completed applicant and parent questionnaire
      • Copy of the student’s most recent report card
      • Two teacher recommendations (one English and one math)
      • Full-day campus visit and interview with the Head of Middle or Upper School.
    2. Schedule admission testing with the Admission Office in the form of the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).  You may register for the ISEE online at www.iseetest.org.  The Office of Admission has a limited number of fee waivers available for the ISEE.

  • Financial Qualifications

    Once a student has completed the admission process, the following documentation will be required to determine the family’s financial need.

    1. Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS):
      You may complete the PFS online here.  A non-refundable $42 fee paid by debit or credit card is required. Be sure and print a copy of the completed application for your records. Parents may call 601-853-6041 for assistance in completing this process.
    2. After you pay for and submit your PFS, you’ll have access on the PFS Online to a section called “Manage Documents.” You may upload the following documents to complete your application:

      • 2018 Federal Income Taxes
      • 2018 State Income Taxes
      • IRS form 4506-T EZ.
      • A business/Farm Statement as well as S Corporation and Partnership Taxes if applicable should be uploaded to SSS.
