Experience the St. Andrew's Lower School

St. Andrew’s Lower School is a lively and nurturing center for learning focusing on the development of the whole child.
Every student's day starts with a morning meeting that builds community, and honors the individuals therein, and emphasizes collaboration, assertiveness, responsibility, empathy, and self-control 

Art, music, science lab, Spanish, Chinese, physical education, technology, chapel, and library activities are integrated into daily schedules, rounding out a curriculum that promotes independence, responsibility, moral character, and excellence in academics.
 

Curriculum

St. Andrew’s Lower School is a lively center for learning through the development of the whole child. The curriculum builds on skills introduced in Early Childhood and uses an active, hands-on approach that makes learning exciting, fun, and contagious. A spirited, family-like atmosphere balances the academic, artistic, and social-emotional aspects of education, resulting in happy, self-confident students. Art, music, science, Spanish, Chinese, physical education, technology, chapel, and library activities are integrated into daily schedules, rounding out a curriculum that promotes independence, responsibility, moral character, and excellence in academics.

Service

Lower School students learn about local and global issues such as hunger, health, and education. Students also have the opportunity to address those issues, in their own neighborhoods and aroiund the world, in age-appropriate ways.
