Student Support

In support of the mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, the Student Support Services Department works collaboratively using a holistic approach to help meet the varied academic, physical, social/emotional, and spiritual needs of our diverse student body.

Total Wellness

Throughout the St. Andrew’s experience, skilled professionals work with students to help them navigate their educational journeys to become resilient, self-regulated graduates ready to contribute to their communities and the world. Coordinating on-site, full-time learning facilitators, school counselors, a health and wellness coordinator in the physical fitness program, nurses and chaplains, St. Andrew’s dedicates resources at every level to enrich the health and wellness of the whole student.

Individualized Social and Emotional Learning

St. Andrew’s seeks to be a challenging academic environment that helps students live into their potential. We provide multiple resources to help students develop resilient life skills and work habits that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Meeting with members of the SSS team is a routine part of each students experience at St. Andrew’s. From Chapel time and advisory periods to identifying specific learning styles and needs, whenever or wherever a student needs support, a member of the Student Support Services will be there to help.

Learning Differences

The primary goal of our Learning Centers is to create an environment in the Episcopal tradition that embraces the diversity of its learners and empowers them to realize their educational potential.

The Learning Centers on both campuses are staffed by full-time Learning Facilitators, who provide instructional assistance to students with identified learning needs. However, the role of the Learning Facilitator is not limited to only those students with identified learning differences. Facilitators also are available to assist all students with any academic needs, including but not limited to strengthening executive functioning skills, transitions, and enrichment.
