St. Andrew’s celebrates the feast of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals.
Each year, St. Andrew’s celebrates the feast of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. At the lower school, we blessed photos of our pets and other beloved animals and also collected items for the Animal Rescue Fund, as we received a visit from Pippa Jackson, its director, and Matilda, a dog seeking a home. We celebrated in the middle and upper schools with outdoor blessings to which we invited all well-behaved pets. Our animals are outward signs of God’s grace in our lives, and we are thankful for their love in our lives. Here’s a short video from the services.
