Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

St. Andrew’s students produced original material that amassed 9 Gold Key Awards (including an American Visions Nominee), 10 Silver Key Awards, and 18 Honorable Mention recognitions. 
The Eudora Welty Foundation announced winners of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Students in grades 7 to 12 in Mississippi public and independent schools, as well as home-schooled students, are eligible to enter the 2019 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. St. Andrew’s had multiple winners in several categories, including an American Visions Nominee national recognition for Xenia Minton for her photograph, Kung Fu Fighter. In all, St. Andrew’s students produced original material that amassed 9 Gold Key Awards, 10 Silver Key Awards, and 18 Honorable Mention recognitions.
