Basketball Wins 3rd State Championship in 4 Years

Varsity boys basketball finished the season with a 22-2 overall record including going 10-0 in District. The Saints won the Region 6-3A Championship as well as the 3A State Championship by defeating Booneville 59-32 this past Saturday at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson. Christian Simms was named Scholar-Athlete and Rashad Bolden was named MVP at the game. This win makes for 3 state championships in 4 years for Saints boys basketball.
 
This Friday March 12 at 7:00 pm, Rashad Bolden will represent St. Andrew’s in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery, Alabama. Juniors Javion Johnson and Jake Dowdell will also participate in the MAC North/South All-Star game next Saturday March 20 at 2:30 pm in A.E. Wood Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi College.
