Global Voices – Chinese New Year Celebrations

Lower School and Early Childhood students recently celebrated the Chinese Lunar New Year as part of their Global Voices curriculum. Students rotated between different activities — making traditional Chinese dumplings, drawing Chinese calligraphy, watching a demonstration of sugar drawings, and enjoying a shadow puppet show. Students were also invited to dress in red or traditional Chinese attire for the celebrations. Thank you to all of our parent and grandparent volunteers — Charlene Liu, Faye Fei, Heng Wu, Mr. & Mrs. Wang (grandparents of Chris Liu and Andrew Liu), Na Luo, Niping Wang, Satoka Obi, Sharon Hong, Stephanie Gong, Tiansinong An, Xin Qi, Yi Nippes, and Yiling Fu. Visit the media galleries to see picturres from the ECC and Lower School activities.
