Intramural Program

Program Philosophy

St. Andrew’s is proud to offer Intramural Sports to all students in Grades 1–4, providing opportunities to participate in Flag Football, Basketball, Futsal, and Pickleball throughout the school year.

Our intramural leagues provide a balance of sport-specific skill development, themed drills, and practice games during each session, with the focus shifting toward competitive gameplay later in the season. Intramurals are coordinated by Lachlan Puyol, our Lower School Fitness Teacher, with team practices, drills, and games supported by parent volunteers. The program complements the Lower School Fitness curriculum by allowing students to further develop skills in sports they may be learning during their regular PE classes.

The aim of the St. Andrew’s Intramural Sport program is to provide students with a positive and inclusive introduction to organized sport while developing foundational athletic skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and a love of physical activity. These experiences help establish a strong foundation for students as they progress into their Middle and Uppers School years. Most importantly, Intramural Sport brings the St. Andrew’s community together by creating opportunities for students and parents to participate, compete, and build relationships in a fun, supportive, and safe environment.
