  • Textbooks

Your child's textbooks will be provided by the school through the textbook fee. They will receive them from their teachers when they begin school — you do not need to buy texts yourself.

The textbook fee is a non-optional fee. In order to provide textbooks to all students at a lower, bulk purchase price, all Middle and Upper School students are automatically enrolled in our textbook rental program. This fee includes all physical and digital textbooks/workbooks required for the 2026-27 school year; summer reading resources will still be purchased separately by individual families. Faculty have chosen whether the resources in their classes are to be rented and reused (i.e., need to be returned at the end of the course), or if that resource will be given to the student to freely write in to assist with their learning. In general, large history or math textbooks were selected by faculty to be included as part of the textbook rental pool, while items such as novels or workbooks may be kept permanently by students so they may freely highlight and annotate these. We recognize the importance of active reading strategies (i.e. highlighting, annotating, etc.) for all of our learners. Students should feel free to mark up all books as needed, and individual teachers will clarify expectations about textbook care at the beginning of each course.
  • Chromebooks

Middle School students must have a Chromebook.

Please use this online document to guide your purchasing decisions.

Grades 5-8 May Not Use Apple Laptops or Windows 11 Laptops. Any Middle School student with an Apple or Windows 11 Laptop will be required to buy a Chromebook. We will be checking and registering every Middle School device in August of 2026.
    • Grades 5-8: Chromebook
    • Grades 9-12 only: Apple Laptop or Windows 11 Laptop
    • All students need headphones with a microphone. These do not need to be expensive items. If you have questions about these, please contact IT at helpdesk@gosaints.org.
All required software will be provided. Please do not buy software without consulting with the technology department. Students are often eligible for discounts on personal software purchases.

  • Uniforms

We are excited to be partnering with Lands End for our uniforms next school year and beyond. Visit www.gosaints.org/school-uniforms for information on ordering uniforms for students in Pre-K3 through 8th grade. Be sure to review the Dress Code Guidelines.
  • Dragonfly Max Accounts for Student Athletes

All families with a 7th to 12th grade student who plans to participate in a sport at St. Andrew's during the 2026-27 school year, including dance, cheer, and band, must have a Dragonfly Max profile to ensure eligibility. Each family only needs to create one profile; multiple athletes can be added to a single profile.

Here’s how to create an account:
    1. Visit www.dragonflymax.com, follow the prompt to the login/sign-up page.
    2. On the sign-up page, click Sign Up for Free.
    3. Create a parent account with your email address or phone number.
    4. Verify the email address or phone number.
    5. Enter St. Andrew’s school code – YQWKS7 – when prompted and confirm that St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is the correct school.
    6. Click Add A Child and then follow the prompts to create your child’s profile and complete his or her participation forms, including uploading any necessary documents.
    7. After completing your child’s forms, you can review the profile or add another child.
There are a number of consent forms and uploads that must be completed before a profile is considered acceptable. If you have questions about what forms are required or need a copy of a file, please contact Marlo Hendrix in the St. Andrew’s Athletics Department.

Once you have created a profile on the website, download the Dragonfly Max app from the Apple or Google Play app stores and sign in for easy profile management.
