Welcome to Happy Panda Yoga & Mindfulness, a delightful journey into the world of yoga and mindfulness designed especially for Pre-K 3 to Kindergarten students. Every Tuesday afternoon, we gather for a themed exploration of movement, relaxation, and imaginative play.
Each week, our class revolves around a new theme, bringing stories and animal poses to life in a way that engages young minds and bodies. We use captivating storybooks that coincide with our lessons, making yoga accessible and fun through imaginative storytelling.
Our sessions begin with musical welcome songs that set a joyful tone for our time together. We then practice gentle and playful yoga sequences, including musical sun salutations that combine movement with music, fostering a sense of rhythm and flow.
In addition to yoga poses, we enjoy interactive games such as "Mirror Me" and "Yogi Says," encouraging teamwork, listening skills, and coordination in a supportive environment.
Every student will use the instructor's yoga mat during class, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for exploration. At the end of the semester, each child will receive a special keepsake: a panda breathing buddy. This cuddly friend serves as a reminder of our mindfulness practices, offering comfort and companionship beyond our weekly gatherings.
Happy Panda Yoga & Mindfulness is not just about physical movement; it's about nurturing emotional well-being, creativity, and self-expression in our youngest learners. Join us as we embark on a journey of discovery and inner peace, where every child blossoms like a happy panda in their own unique way!
