Hello, my name is Lynn Davis. I am the Auxiliary Programs Associate at St. Andrew's. I have a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and taught school for several years before staying home to raise my children. After that, I came to St Andrew's where my children had attended school, and became a teaching assistant before becoming Auxiliary Associate. I have played tennis since I was 25 years old. I played USTA and JLTA for many years. I have once again started to play and am absolutely loving it. I am definitely qualified to introduce tennis to your little ones. Our sessions begin with musical welcome songs that set a joyful tone for our time together. We then practice gentle and playful yoga sequences, including musical sun salutations that combine movement with music, fostering a sense of rhythm and flow.
In addition to yoga poses, we enjoy interactive games such as "Mirror Me" and "Yogi Says," encouraging teamwork, listening skills, and coordination in a supportive environment.
Every student will use the instructor's yoga mat during class, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for exploration. At the end of the semester, each child will receive a special keepsake: a panda breathing buddy. This cuddly friend serves as a reminder of our mindfulness practices, offering comfort and companionship beyond our weekly gatherings.
Happy Panda Yoga & Mindfulness is not just about physical movement; it's about nurturing emotional well-being, creativity, and self-expression in our youngest learners.
