Calling all young animal lovers to join Animal Adventures! During this enrichment class students will explore the amazing world of animals through hands-on activities, stories, crafts, games, and simple science. Each week we’ll discover a new group of animals—from farm friends and household pets to ocean creatures, rainforest animals, woodland wildlife, and more. Students will learn fascinating animal facts, explore different habitats, and discover how animals survive and help people. Along the way, they’ll create themed crafts, participate in interactive games, and complete fun STEM activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and teamwork. Animal Adventures inspires a love of nature while building observation skills, problem-solving, communication, and confidence in a fun, age-appropriate environment. Whether your child dreams of becoming a veterinarian, loves visiting the zoo, or simply enjoys learning about animals, this class is sure to be an exciting adventure from beginning to end!

Hi! I’m Saana Watson and this is my 10th year at St. Andrew’s teaching kindergarten, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to know each child and helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. After taking a couple of years away from teaching enrichment classes to spend extra time with my two daughters, who also attend St. Andrew’s, I’m thrilled to be back! Enrichment gives us the opportunity to explore exciting topics deeper through hands-on activities, creativity, and discovery in a fun, relaxed setting. I can’t wait to share a semester full of learning, laughter, and memorable adventures with your child!

FALL 2026: Bringing Storybooks to Life (Pretend Play)

Each week in this class, we will choose a children's book and bring it to life. We will incorporate songs, dances, acting, and costumes into our stories and perform them for each other! This will be a chance for the kids to connect to the stories they've been hearing and see themselves as part of the fairytale!

Instructor's Bio:
I have a degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College and have been involved in local theatre since I was young. I student-taught in Boston, MA, this past year and am excited to be back home teaching at St. Andrew's. Whether it's directing, writing, or acting, theatre has always been a passion of mine, and sharing it with kids is my favorite way to be involved in the arts.
Candy Reviewers, 1st-4th, 3:00-4:00 on Fridays

Does your child have a passion for candy, a love for watching food reviews, or a sense of adventure when it comes to trying new treats? If that sounds like your little one, then this class is a delightful opportunity they won't want to miss! In our engaging after-school program, students will dive into interactive worksheets that allow them to explore various candies while honing their skills in crafting eye-catching advertisements and captivating reviews.
Last year, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with The Hershey Company, which gave students exclusive insights into new candies and the enchanting world of candy history. Each week, they'll embark on a tasting adventure, sampling a delightful mix of beloved classics and intriguing new treats they may never have encountered before. It’s a wonderful chance for them to discover the joy of bold new flavors and share their delicious insights with fellow candy enthusiasts!

For their safety, each student will only sample a small amount, never exceeding a serving size. If your child has food allergies, this class may not be the best fit; however, if their allergies are limited and they are eager to join, please reach out via email to discuss how I can accommodate their needs. Hi! My name is Sara Clark, and I am the Lower School Librarian for both ECC and LS. I am also the Head Archery Coach at the Middle and High School. This will be my 6th year at St.Andrew's and in Mississippi. I love reading books, crafting, spending time with family, journaling, traveling, and trying new foods! In this class, I want to share my love for art and nature with your child!

Welcome to Fall Adventure Club, where curiosity, creativity, and discovery come together through the wonders of the fall season. Designed for children entering Rising PK3 through Kindergarten, this hands-on enrichment program provides meaningful learning experiences that nurture academic, social, emotional, and creative development in a fun and engaging environment.

Each week, children will explore exciting fall themes including pumpkins, apples, colorful leaves, woodland animals, harvest traditions, and changing weather. Through play-based learning, they will investigate, create, move, and discover while building confidence and developing important school-readiness skills.

The class includes:

* Nature exploration and sensory experiences
* Creative arts and seasonal crafts
* Hands-on STEM investigations and early math activities
* Seasonal tasting experiences and simple cooking activities
* Music, movement, and imaginative play
* Literacy-rich activities that promote language development and early reading skills
* Social-emotional learning that encourages kindness, teamwork, and independence

Fall Adventure Club is the first part of our seasonal enrichment series designed for Rising PK3–Kindergarten learners. Throughout the fall, children will explore the sights, sounds, and wonders of the season through hands-on learning, creativity, STEM, literacy, music, movement, and nature-based activities.

As the seasons change, children are invited to continue their learning journey in the spring with Blooming Buddies, the second part of our enrichment series. In Blooming Buddies, young learners will discover the excitement of gardens, plants, insects, flowers, life cycles, and the beauty of spring through engaging projects, outdoor exploration, and interactive learning experiences.
While each program can be enjoyed independently, together they provide a year-long enrichment experience that encourages curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through the changing seasons.

Hello! My name is Ciarra Eglin, and I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children.

I am entering my third year as an early childhood assistant teacher. I currently teach PK3 at St. Andrew's Episcopal School, where I foster a nurturing, engaging classroom that supports each child's academic, social, and emotional growth.

I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology, giving me a strong understanding of child development and how young children learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships. I am also CPR certified and committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Art Lovers! Want to develop your hands-on skills? Let your imagination transform ordinary objects into masterpieces! Come have FUN creating craft activities you will enjoy! Use your imagination and creativity to put together your unique designs on Wood, Mosaics, Binders, Signs, Purses Jewelry, Wristbands, Keychains -for backpacks, and more, using different techniques with lots of fun patterned paper, ribbons, all kinds of paint, beads, Perler beads (the melting ones!), stickers and many more materials that make this class such an enjoyable and exciting activity! It’s a wonderful fun class for the end of the school day!

I am a former St. Andrew's 5th grade Spanish teacher and a St. Andrew’s substitute teacher for PK3-12th grade for several years. I love working with kids. Calling all curious Dinosaur lovers! Come Roar & Explore, get ready to stomp, roar, dig, and create in Little Dino Explorers, an exciting hands-on class where dinosaurs come to life through art, discovery, and imaginative play. Children will enjoy dinosaur-themed adventures filled with creative crafts, sensory exploration, and interactive activities designed especially for little learners. These activities encourage children to strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, early STEM thinking, creativity, and self-expression, all while developing confidence and social skills through collaborative play and guided exploration. Children will experiment with different textures, colors, shapes, and materials that nurtures imagination and a love of learning. Your child will head home with wonderful memories of roaring, exploring, and discovering with friends! Join us for a prehistoric adventure where learning is hands-on, and imaginations soar!

This club encourages creative thinking, teamwork, and confidence as young makers discover the joy of saying, “I made this!” Perfect for students who love art, crafting, and trying new things.

Tinker Time-Tinkering is about hands-on experiences, learning from failures, and unstructured time to explore and invent. And through the processes of exploration and invention lies the potential for innovation. The kids will do this by learning about different hand tools and materials to help aid them in their creative thinking to make new inventions. This is a very open-ended class. We will not have' prescribed' items to make. We will explore different tools each week to help create from scratch items the children want to make. We will also explore how items are made and how they work by taking them apart.
