Have you ever wondered what species of spider created that web in your own backyard, or what that loud noise was while sitting on your patio? Well this is the night for you!
We’ll start the evening in the McRae Science Center learning about our own native wildlife using preserved and live specimens, then begin our walk through the school’s wetland habitats and areas surrounding Lake Sherwood Wise. You will get to hear from St. Andrew’s science faculty about reptiles, amphibians, spiders, and other native wildlife. Our hope is that you leave the night with a better understanding and appreciation of nature.
This event, for individuals over the age of 21, includes drinks and snacks while we explore the campus. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks will be provided. Limited space available; register here to reserve your spot!
Please plan to arrive at the McRae Science Center at 6:30 PM. Participants should wear shoes for walking around campus. We expect the festivities to last approximately two hours.
