Middle School Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Eesh Majithia, a 6th grader, for back-to-back wins of the Middle School Spelling Bee.
The middle school held its annual spelling bee on Thursday, November 15. Fourteen students, representing all four grade levels, competed in the bee. After thirteen exciting rounds, sixth grade student Eesh Majithia became our school champion! Eesh spelled such words as proboscis, unguents, asseveration, glutinous, and galette. Second place was won by fellow sixth grader (and Eesh’s twin brother), Unsh Majithia. Eesh will continue on to represent St. Andrew’s at the Madison County Spelling Bee this spring. Congratulations to all the participants! This was truly a thrilling spelling bee with top-rate spellers!
