The Saints community came together for St. Andrew’s Visioning Day.
On Saturday, January 26, the Saints community came together for St. Andrew’s Visioning Day – the culminating step in our months-long visioning process. Thanks to the dedicated work of scores of people representing every constituency of our school – students, parents, teachers, administrators, alumni, and trustees – working under the guidance of Christina Drouin, founder and president of the Center for Strategic Planning, a proposed Vision Statement has been drafted and is awaiting ratification by the board of trustees at its February meeting. “Our Vision Statement is not a motto or a slogan that conforms and contorts to cultural whimsy – it is a lodestar that will steer those decisionmakers who debate critical school issues as well as those students deciding whether or not to do the right thing,” Head of School Tom Sheppard wrote to Visioning Day participants. “It is the definitive hope of our school for generations to come.”
