On Friday, April 1, eight St. Andrew's students competed at the state tournament science fair in Hattiesburg. After a long day of judging, the results were as follows:
Joy Dhar – 1st in Animal Sciences
Tina Garg – 1st in Behavioral and Social Sciences
Joshua Thorne – 1st in Earth and Environmental Sciences
Ella Bennett – 2nd in Microbiology
Carol Rappai – 3rd in Microbiology
Gabriella Zevallos – 3rd in Botany
Casey Young – 4th in Behavioral and Social Sciences
Madelyn Abraham – 4th in Medicine and Health Sciences
Two students, Madelyn Abraham and Joy Dhar, will continue competition by representing St. Andrews at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in an almost a week-long event this May based on their work at the Regional Science Fair. Congratulations to all of these students!
