The Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Program in an effort to encourage scholastic achievement among the state's high school students.
The Mississippi Economic Council and its M.B. Swayze Foundation sponsors the Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Program in an effort to encourage scholastic achievement among the state's high school students. The STAR Program has two specific purposes: to emphasize scholastic excellence and encourage greater scholastic effort among Mississippi students. STAR students select teachers to be honored alongside them.
St. Andrew's is thrilled to have five students recognized this year. They are:
CJ Carron - teacher Donna Patrick
Joe Han – teacher Ruth Holmes
Charley Hutchison - teacher Roscoe Stribling
Julia Jia - teacher John Applegate
Emily Kruse - teacher Donna Patrick
