Learn more about a Merit Scholarship for prospective students

St. Andrew's Episcopal School is pleased to offer academically gifted students entering grades 7-12, whose families demonstrate significant financial need, the opportunity to apply for a Merit Scholarship. The amount of the scholarship may be as much as full tuition but will vary according to the financial need, documented by the student's family.
 
 
 
STEPS TO APPLY FOR A 2017-18 MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
Note: This is different from the application for admission to St. Andrew's. Both must be completed.
 
 
 
 
 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Submit the completed application for admission to St. Andrew's accompanied by the $50 application fee. You may apply online. The application for admission also includes a completed applicant and parent questionnaire, a copy of the student's most recent report card, two teacher recommendations (one English and one math), and a full-day campus visit and interview with the Head of Middle or Upper School.
  2. Schedule admission testing in the form of the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). You may register for the ISEE online at www.iseetest.org or by mail with a registration form available by request from the St. Andrew's Office of Admissions.
  3. Request one letter of recommendation from a teacher of your choice. They must address how you exemplify the qualities of a Malone Scholar.
